At Florida CNA Skills Center, Inc. we are a test prep course. We teach you how to pass the Florida State Certified Nursing Assistant CNA exam the first time. This course also includes all the skills needed to be a Home Health Aide or HHA. Our accelerated classes will prepare you for both the written and clinical skills test. You can complete the entire course in 4 nights Monday through Thursday OR 1 Weekend Sat/Sun OR 3 half days Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday for only $395.00. This fee includes a very comprehensive BOOK written just for the Florida State CNA exam and a DVD of all the clinical skills that we do in the class so you can watch and study at home on your TV or computer. The $395.00 for the CNA class does not include the fee for the state CNA exam, which is currently $155.00 with your application. If you have not had a Level 2 FBI background screening and fingerprinting in the last 5 years, that is an additional $80.87 and takes about 3 to 4 weeks to get assigned a test date. Florida is a 'Challenge State' which means completion of a State Approved Course, or having a certain number of classroom or clinical hours to take the State Licensing Examination is “NOT REQUIRED.”
You do not have to go to school for weeks or months or pay costly tuition fees.
Our classroom is set up just like a hospital room and the state test site. We supply all the state-of-the-art equipment and supplies in a comfortable learning environment. All you need to bring is a pen. We only take 6 students per class. You will perform all the clinical skills hands-on in the classroom with one of our highly trained teachers, who are Registered Nurses and Licensed CNAs.
But we don't stop there. We give you ongoing support and coaching for 2 months (60 days). Yes, you will have access to classes and the use of the school during class hours for review and practice for up to 2 months (60 days) after completing your class and applying for the state exam.
